What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Dental Service Provider position at American Home Finding Association?
Job Summary
Immediate Full-time opening for a Registered Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Hygienist working in American Home Finding Associaiton's I-Smile and I-Smile @ School programs as well as Maternal and Child/Adolescent Health clinics. Primary duty is to work with the Agency's I-Smile Coordinator to operate the I-Smile and I-Smile @ School programming in nine counties. Works cooperatively with agencies, schools, community partners, as well as agency personnel.
Provides limited direct dental care as directed and appropriate to scope of practice, as well as, care coordination related to direct care. Must have excellent phone skills and be efficient in documentation and file management work, both on paper and electronically.
Assist the I-Smile Coordinator by planning and coordinating direct dental services including:
* Organizing direct service provider schedules
* Setting up locations/direct services sites
* Ordering supplies for the dental programs
* Distributing and collecting forms
* Assisting with the necessary charting and consent forms/screenings forms
* Completing data entry/ensuring accurate data entry
* Providing or assisting with preventative oral health services
* Completing telephone calls (follow up, care coordination, etc) as needed
May assist with all aspects of oral health programming. Other Care Coordination duties, as assigned.
Must be highly detail oriented and organized.
Pay will be determined by license and work experience.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
