Part-Time Program Manager – Heritage Youth Choirs
American Heritage School is a mission-driven, faith-centered private school aligned with the teachings and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are seeking a part-time Program Manager to support the Heritage Youth Choirs, a vibrant community choir organization serving over 400 singers in grades K–12 across campuses in American Fork and Salt Lake City. The mission of the Heritage Youth Choirs is to promote enduring faith in Jesus Christ and musical excellence in the lives of choir members and audiences.
Nature of the Role
This position is considered a faith-forming role within American Heritage School. In addition to program administration and logistical coordination, program managers are expected to actively support, model, and teach principles consistent with the Mission and values of AHS and the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate demonstrates a love of sacred music, a sincere interest in working with youth, and a personal commitment to the principles of the Restored Gospel. Candidates should be highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with tools such as Word, Excel, and web-based platforms (e.g., WordPress or similar) is preferred, along with a willingness to learn new systems and processes. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with the Program Director and team members, contribute positively to a unified team culture, and take ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities, as well as a commitment to actively participate in and contribute to a faith-based educational environment aligned with the teachings and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Faith and Mission Responsibilities
In addition to academic responsibilities, teachers at AHS are expected to integrate faith-based principles and moral reasoning into classroom instruction where appropriate, serve as an example of Christian character and discipleship to students, support and uphold the spiritual mission of the school through daily interactions with students and colleagues, participate in school-wide devotionals, prayer, and other faith-centered activities, and respond thoughtfully to student questions related to faith, values, and moral decision-making in a manner consistent with the school's mission.

Candidates should be professional, collaborative, and respectful in all interactions. Personal conduct, public statements, and online presence, both on and off campus, are expected to reflect and support the school's religious mission and educational purpose.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist the Program Director in executing the vision and mission of the Heritage Youth Choirs
- Oversee logistics for rehearsals, performances, and events across both campuses
- Manage enrollment processes and maintain accurate program records
- Coordinate and distribute electronic communications to students, parents, and faculty
- Support planning and execution of concerts, tours, and special events
- Accompany the Heritage Youth Chorus on its annual performance tour
- Collaborate with directors, accompanists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth program operations
- Carry out additional administrative and program-related tasks as assigned by the Program Director
Position Details
This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) with a flexible schedule. Regular in-person availability is required on Mondays from 3:30–5:00 pm in American Fork and 3:35–5:05 pm in Salt Lake City. Additional hours may vary based on program needs, including performances, events, and seasonal responsibilities. This position begins in September 2027.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
