Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities
General Responsibilities
• Make necessary repairs to mill equipment
• Rebuild mill equipment as needed
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues
• Must be able to use hand tools and other tools required for the job
• Must be able to burn efficiently
• Must be able to read schematics
• Must be able to use multi-meter, Amp meter, megger, and other devices to troubleshoot issues
• Assist mechanics as needed
• Must be able to operate a crane, forklift, man-lift and other mobile equipment as needed
• Keep work area clean
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical components
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
• Diagnose and correct PLC programming problems to minimize downtime
• Diagnose, repair and or replace electrical components of machines including but not limited to motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensor, and variable speed drives
• Capable of reading electrical schematics
• New equipment installations

Job Qualifications
• Education: Associate degree or training in vocational school
• Experience: 5 years of related experience
