Overview
We are seeking a motivated NCCO Knuckle Boom Operator to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will operate knuckle boom cranes to assist with heavy lifting, loading, and unloading operations on various construction and industrial sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient handling of oversized and complex cargo, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service.
Duties
- Operate NCCO (National Crane Company) knuckle boom cranes with precision and safety awareness.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of heavy equipment and materials onto trucks or onto site locations.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of crane equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with ground personnel to execute lifting plans accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during crane operation to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain detailed logs of crane usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Skills
- Proven experience operating NCCO knuckle boom cranes or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of crane safety standards and operational procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts, plans, and technical instructions.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and site personnel.
- Physical ability to perform inspections, adjustments, and operate machinery for extended periods.
