Responsibilities
- Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff
- Support comfort, safety, and dignity in all interactions
- Measure and document basic vital signs as directed
- Assist with meal service, hydration, and feeding support when needed
- Help maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked care areas
- Follow care plans, facility procedures, and infection control guidelines
- Provide courteous and respectful communication to residents, patients, families, and team members
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification in good standing
- Ability to work first, second, or third shift as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to care
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
- Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, rehabilitation, or similar settings is preferred
