Job Location: 4600 Paseo Del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
Overtime and weekends as required.
Full or Part Time: Full-time only
Compensation: $21.83/hour
JOB SUMMARY:
- The responsibilities of the Receiver include:
- Receiving incoming shipments.
- Maintaining adequate inventory levels of most production raw materials/supplies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory counts as required.
- Following material ordering guidelines.
- Safety and quality should always be part of the daily operation to provide a safe workplace and to produce the highest quality product possible.
POSITION PROFILE:
To be successful in the position, a candidate would have (but not be limited to) certain traits:
- Able to keep up with a steady-paced environment.
- Able to use a computer to:
- Assist in tracking inventories.
- Assist in ordering materials.
- Enter data.
- Generate reports.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word software.
- Experience with mobile equipment, like a forklift.
- Experience with Oracle is a plus.
- Have good communication skills.
- Have good organization skills.
- Able to handle light physical demands.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to follow procedures and react to conditions outside of set guidelines.
- Able to spend majority of time operating mobile equipment (forklift).
- Able to perform frequent visual inspections of materials.
- Able to proficiently read a tape measure.
- Able to perform basic math using a calculator.
- Content with routine job functions.
- Highly safety sensitive position due to routine close proximity to moving and automatic equipment as well as mobile equipment.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
PRIMARY DUTIES:
SAFETY
- This operations position is a safety-sensitive position due to routine close proximity to moving and automatic equipment as well as mobile equipment.
- Operate in a safe manner, following all plant and departmental safety rules and procedures.
- Participate in weekly crew safety meetings.
- Understanding of how and where to properly lock out all job related equipment.
- Understanding of safe operation for forklifts.
- Understanding of mobile equipment safety inspection.
- Wear appropriate PPE for the job conditions.
- Maintain housekeeping in the designated area.
- Understanding of safe loading and unloading procedures.
- Understanding of JSA’s for the area.
- Work to avoid all spills and immediately address any spill conditions.
QUALITY
- Know all raw materials used in the process including the different types of paper.
- Be familiar with the purpose of all raw materials.
- Assist in controlling any material in question.
- Inspect materials for quality and correctness.
- Receive and properly label trial materials.
- Deliver all quality-related paperwork to the Quality Lab Supervisor.
OPERATIONS
- Paper rolls should be inspected for any damage on the face, side or core.
- Paper inventory status is maintained daily.
- Track usage of all raw materials and maintain uninterrupted supply.
- Perform inventories as required on all raw materials.
- Maintain proper organization and labeling of all paper and raw materials.
- Maintain proper raw material inventory, usage, and tracking reports.
- Track and communicate order points for all raw materials to provide an uninterrupted supply.
- Inspect raw materials upon receipt.
- Responsible for accurate unloading of wet additives into proper storage tanks.
- Report all damage and spills.
- Responsible for maintaining liability waivers from all truck drivers.
- Perform monthly inventory and coordinate with General Foreman and Production Superintendent to ensure accurate and timely inventory results.
- Work with corporate accounting as needed to reconcile all shipments.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Must be flexible with job duties job duties; may be required to fill in on other jobs when the business or organization is short-handed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Dock system
Broom, shovel
Forklift
Pallet jack
WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer experience required; must be familiar with Excel and Word software.
TECHNICAL/CLERICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to read information on raw material containers, bills of lading and accurately fill in forms.
- Must be able to accurately input information into a computer.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS:
- Typically well-lighted.
- The plant is not heated or air-conditioned.
- Low noise levels.
- Air quality is good.
- Majority of the job requires very little physical exertion.
- Work in the office is clerical.
Salary : $22
