SCHEDULE:
Monday - Wednesday 1045am to 715pm,
Thursday - Friday 945am to 615pm
and Saturday 845am to 515pm

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries and directing them to relevant library resources.
- Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, including directions and information about library services.
- Conduct regular patrols of library premises to deter and detect any signs of unauthorized access, disturbances, or other security concerns.
- Report incidents and safety hazards accurately and promptly to our dispatch center.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Guard Card and Powers to Arrest certificate in hand.
- Must have a valid driver’s license or ID.
- 1 year experience as level 2 officer.
- Valid Pepper Spray permit is required.
- Must have Handcuffs and Permit.
- Must have a valid Social Security card.
- Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
- Must provide excellent customer service.
- Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.
- Must be able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
