Auto Glass Technician

About the Role
American Glass is looking for a skilled and reliable Auto Glass Technician to join our team. The positions responsibilities include repairing, replacing, and calibrating automotive glass on a wide range of vehicles. This role combines hands-on mechanical skills, customer service and safety focused work practices. Technicians ensure every vehicle is returned to the customer with glass installed to OEM standards and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) properly calibrated (if applicable)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform windshield and auto glass repairs and replacements on a variety of vehicles·
Safely remove, install, and seal glass using industry-standard tools and adhesives
· Inspect vehicles for additional damage or safety concerns
· Deliver excellent customer service and explain repair processes clearly
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
· Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines
· Recalibrate forward camera systems per OEM requirements
Help with shop work during down time
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
· Experienced auto glass technician
· Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
· Ability to lift and maneuver glass and equipment up to 75lbs
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with customers
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to use computers, mobile devices and related technology efficiently
