Responsibilities
- Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various tasks including glass installation, carpentry, and assembly
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately follow project specifications
- Execute fabrication tasks, ensuring precision in manufacturing components
- Install fixtures, cabinets, doors, and perform trim carpentry as required
- Conduct caulking and construction painting to ensure finished surfaces are smooth and aesthetically pleasing
- Engage in metal stud framing and heavy lifting as necessary for project completion
- Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure safety protocols are followed
- Participate in remodeling projects, adapting to changing requirements as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting
- Knowledge of glass installation techniques and fabrication processes
- Familiarity with carpentry practices including frame carpentry and trim carpentry
- Ability to install cabinets, doors, fixtures, and perform general maintenance person tasks
