Rotogravure Production Worker 1st shift (38415)

Description

General Responsibilities:

To perform all job duties associated with the support of the Shrink Printing Department.

Specific Responsibilities

• To operate the parts washer and all task associated with the supplying the press with clean parts for production.
• To perform routine preventative task to the parts washer that maintain the unit for fit for production at all times.
• Proper handling of all non-hazardous materials (i.e. waste) leaving the department.
• The removal of all trash and scrap from the department to the appropriate destinations.
• To maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• All other appropriate duties as assigned by the management team and permitted by existing union contract language.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

The working knowledge of operating the parts washer in the Shrink Printing Department, the ability to work as a team, and to maintain clean parts to keep up with production. The ability to multitask, good communication skills, and good physical strength (to effectively handle parts for loading and unloading the parts washer), and pass a recent color blind test.

Other Qualifications

A High School Diploma and the ability to work overtime and any 5 day or 7 day continuous operation schedule as outlined in the contract.
