American Freedom Insurance Company (AFIC) is growing in Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas and we want you on our team!
AFIC is hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative fluent in both English and Creole. This is primarily an English-speaking role, with assistance provided to Creole-speaking customers as needed. Candidates must be comfortable handling professional phone conversations in both languages throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently
- Guide customers through the initial claims process with clarity and empathy
- Enter and maintain confidential customer information accurately
- Resolve routine inquiries and escalate more complex issues when needed
- Meet expectations for quality, accuracy, and productivity
What We’re Looking For
- Fluency in English and Creole is required
- 1 year of customer service, call center, or collections experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Clear, confident phone communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
- Consistent attendance and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent (insurance experience a plus)
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience
