American Fork Vision Center is a long-standing, patient-focused family eye care practice looking to add a dependable and personable individual to our optical team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
No prior optometry experience is required. We provide hands-on training for the right candidate.
Schedule
- Three weekdays: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Rotating Saturdays (approximately two per month): 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $17.00 per hour during training
- Pay increases as skills, responsibilities, and competencies grow
- Performance bonuses tied to office goals (typically $100–$200 per paycheck)
- Complimentary eye care for immediate family members
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients and assist with check-in procedures
- Confirm insurance details and process vision plans
- Guide patients through frame and lens selection
- Verify and interpret eyewear prescriptions
- Assist with contact lens education and insertion training
- Fit, adjust, and dispense eyewear
- Process payments and complete checkout
- Answer phone calls and support daily office operations as needed

- Prior retail, sales, or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required
