As a Lateral Police Officer with American Fork City, you will play a crucial role in the enforcement of state and local laws to uphold peace and protect our valued citizens. Candidates should be well-versed in applicable Federal, State, County, and City laws, as well as methods of arrest and emergency vehicle operations.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Graduation from high school and "basic certification" through Utah P.O.S.T.; or currently enrolled in the Police Academy. OR is currently employed at a Utah law enforcement agency.
• Must possess a valid Utah State driver's license.
• LEO certification
• Must maintain law enforcement certification by completing annual training requirements in the department.
