We are seeking experienced and skilled Harvest and Fabrication professionals to join our growing beef processing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with prior meat processing, slaughter, fabrication, knife trimming, or butchery experience who are looking for competitive pay, outstanding benefits, and long-term career growth.

- Split saw operator

In addition to these roles, we have other opportunities available throughout our harvest and fabrication operations. Candidates with previous meat processing, knife skills, or protein production experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Harvest Department
- Perform skilled harvest operations including hide pull, bung drop, brisket saw, head removal, evisceration, splitting, and carcass trimming.
- Maintain production standards while ensuring product quality and yield goals.
- Follow all USDA, HACCP, food safety, and animal welfare requirements.
- Safely operate knives, saws, and processing equipment.
Fabrication Department
- Break down beef carcasses into primal and subprimal cuts.
- Trim and prepare products to customer specifications and company standards.
- Utilize knives, hooks, band saws, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure products are properly identified, labeled, packaged, and prepared for shipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in beef harvest, fabrication, meat processing, butchery, slaughter, or protein manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knife skills and experience working with meat processing equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Summary:
America's Heartland Packing is set to open its doors in early 2025. The 775,000 sq. ft. greenfield project will include a harvest floor, carcass chillers, fabrication area, rendering, further processing area, storage coolers, freezers, and loading docks.
