Summary
The OCS Route Driver at American Food & Vending is essential to ensuring our clients receive top-quality office coffee and pantry services, and that their micro markets are fully stocked, clean, and operational. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled deliveries of office coffee products, including coffee, teas, creamers, sweeteners, and other related supplies, ensuring all items are accurately delivered.
- Stock and maintain various pantry offerings such as snacks, beverages, and other convenience items, always ensuring shelves are full and displays are appealing.
- Load and unload products from the delivery van to the point-of-sale location.
- Use a handheld device, take Inventory, check expiration dates, verify stock numbers.
- Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshooting for coffee machines and micro-market kiosks, ensuring functionality and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through friendly and professional interactions, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels at customer sites and report restocking needs or inventory discrepancies to management.
- Follow assigned routes efficiently, ensuring timely service to all clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery van and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Accurately complete daily service logs, route sheets, and any other required documentation.
- The ability to drive, lift 50lbs, bend, walk, climb stairs, and stand for scheduled shift.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license that is in good standing.
- Previous experience in delivery, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Be a self-starter, and motivated to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
- Basic technical skills for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting coffee machines and kiosks.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, clients, and team members.
