What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing - Experienced Furnace/Equipment Operator position at American Flux and Metal LLC?
Manufacturer of critical materials for aerospace industry seeking motivated individual to operate furnaces and other production equipment.
- 12 Hour Shift - 12AM to 12PM (36-48 hours)
- Work Only 7 Days every 2 weeks!!!

Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Operating and taking furnace readings and fill out production reports
- Operate crushing equipment to resize and pack material
- Operate a fork truck to move pallets, molds and material sacks (after in-house training)
- Apply proper labels to finished goods
- Perform safety and quality checks during their shift
- Mild housekeeping and general plant cleanliness
- Use hand trucks to move 15 gallon and 55 gallon drums
- Operate a variety of furnaces to produce company products
Requirements:
- Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
- At least one year of previous work experience in manufacturing facility, preferred
- Driver’s license required
