Role Description
This position will be mainly responsible for assessing in-process, first article and final product quality for adherence to customer specifications and releasing of cylindrical components. Additional focus on leading supervising and coaching lesser experienced inspectors. Actively improving inspection methods to become more effective and efficient.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
CMM Experience-Programming a plus
Metals and Materials
CNC Machining
Basic mechanical engineering principles and calculations
Lean manufacturing
Mechanical Testing (Tensile, Hardness, Grain Size)
Non-Destructive Testing (Magnetic Particle, Pressure Testing, Dye Penetrant)
AS9100D
Excellent interpersonal. written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask with a high attention to detail
Mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Ability to:
Detail oriented and ability to solve challenging problems using creative solutions
Function with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
