Role Description The Sales and Design Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mobile, AL. This position is responsible for greeting customers in the showroom, understanding their project needs, and recommending flooring, cabinet, and granite solutions that align with their style, budget, and timeline. Daily tasks include creating design concepts, preparing quotes, generating detailed proposals, and guiding customers through product selections and installation schedules. The specialist will maintain product knowledge, update displays, and collaborate with installers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure accurate orders and timely project completion. The role also involves following up with leads, tracking sales activities, resolving customer concerns, and supporting training efforts for team members on product features and showroom standards.

Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with customers, understand project requirements, and provide clear, professional guidance.
- Proven Sales abilities, including consultative selling, upselling, and closing, with a focus on meeting sales targets and supporting revenue growth.
- Experience or interest in Sales Management and Training, including helping onboard new team members and sharing best practices for showroom and product knowledge.
- Attention to detail and basic design skills, with the ability to read or learn to read room layouts, measurements, and simple project plans.
- Comfort working in a retail showroom environment, including occasional evenings or weekends as business needs require.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools and point-of-sale or CRM systems to prepare quotes, track customer interactions, and manage orders.
