Job Summary:

American Floor Covering is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Estimator to join our high-performance team. The Estimator plays a critical role in winning profitable work, building strong client relationships, and setting projects up for long-term success. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates that meet margin goals, support our project managers, and reflect our deep commitment to client value and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

· Build trusted client relationships that lead to repeat business.

· Prepare precise estimates that lead to profitable and predictable project performance. Avoid unprofitable work and identify areas to maximize value while maintaining client satisfaction.

· Deliver bids, pricing, and information to clients on time—every time. Respond quickly and professionally to requests.

· Know the products and services you’re quoting. If you’re not yet an expert, learn by asking, researching, and engaging with others.

· Organize and hand off awarded jobs with clarity and accuracy. Work closely with Project Managers to ensure a smooth transition and successful execution.

· Bring elite effort and focus to your work every day. Take ownership of your role and contribute to AFC’s mission to be the best at what we do.

· Proven experience in construction estimating or related field.

· Strong understanding of construction drawings, materials, and cost structures.

· Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools.

· Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
