Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems on fleet vehicles and equipment
- Inspect hydraulic components including pumps, cylinders, hoses, valves, and fittings
- Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot system failures and identify root causes using diagnostic tools
- Replace or rebuild defective hydraulic components to restore proper function
- Document all service, repair, and maintenance work accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, schematics, and fluid power principles
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and hydraulic testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic diagrams and technical manuals
- Experience with fleet vehicles, commercial trucks, or heavy equipment preferred
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
