The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions that help in the automation of company workflow and development of multiple internal and customer facing solutions. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing systems while also playing a big part in developing new solutions designed to drive our business. We are looking for ideation, design and execution; this team member will participate in all aspects of our development life cycle.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our growing technology team at American Financing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions that help in the automation of company workflow and development of multiple internal and customer facing solutions. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing systems while also playing a big part in developing new solutions designed to drive our business. What You Will Bring
- 5 years of overall software development experience
- Experience working with .NET and C#, including .NET core, dependency injection frameworks, web services technologies
- Experience working with SQL Server and ORM frameworks. Mongo experience a plus
- Experience with JIRA and agile methodologies
- Experience working with NServiceBus or other enterprise service bus technologies is highly desirable
- Effective time management and ability to float between multiple projects
- Good working knowledge of security best practices, including familiarity with authentication frameworks such as OAuth 2.0 and SAML
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable
- Experience working within the Mortgage industry is highly desirable
- Design and Develop high-quality software systems
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Automate internal development and testing tasks to drive higher efficiency
- Review and debug code
- Create unit and integration tests, and ensure code quality standards are met
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure standards are met for architectural consistency, cloud support, security, observability
- Create and manage technical documentation
