What are the responsibilities and job description for the Broker Resource Manager APL position at American Fidelity?
Responsible for daily supervision, coaching and management of the Sales Support Team/Broker Resources (which includes both home office and field sales colleagues) assisting with the development, implementation, training, and conservation activities that directly support the RSMs, enrollment strategies and sales, while maintaining excellent customer support. Also responsible for managing the BR colleagues assigned to support our key broker partners on enrollments, sales, services, APL products, and strategies.
Facilitates effective communication with oral and written ideas that brings about understanding between the APL Executive Management Team, the Sales Support Team and the RSM Team, to maintain APLs high business practice standards, to encourage active participation in APLs culture of transparency, empowerment, and professional communication and to stay focused on our mission statement goals.
Responsible for cultivating relationships with key broker partners to serve as a resource using appropriate judgment and discretion to quickly address opportunities or issues as they arise. Coordinating the appropriate people/meetings to achieve a timely and successful resolution for all parties. Demonstrates high knowledge and effective training of the BR Team on knowledge of insurance, contracts, benefits, compliance, and risk principals of insurance that apply to APL.
Provides support to achieve annual sales goals with a focus on expense reduction as a percentage of overall sales by identifying process improvements. Displays the ability to think outside the box, taking appropriate risk when creating solutions to enhance customer service and sales.
Skills Of The Ideal Candidate
5-7 years working in sales/administration
Insurance experience required
Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience equivalent to 5 years working in sales/administration
Life and health license required
