This is a fast-paced medical operations position requiring rapid problem-solving and administrative precision. You will serve as the coordinator of patient flow—managing high-volume intake, executing health insurance verification, and handling digital patient registration with speed and absolute accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Intake & Flow Management:
- Manage the digital check-in and queuing system to optimize patient flow and minimize lobby wait times.
- Triage front-desk inquiries efficiently, identifying high-acuity patient situations that require immediate clinical escalation.
- Register patients with 100% accuracy in demographic and medical entry.
Insurance Verification & Financial Responsibility:
- Perform real-time eligibility verification for a wide matrix of health insurance plans.
- Calculate and confidently collect deductibles, copays, and self-pay balances at the point of service.
- Ensure accurate scanning and indexing of insurance cards, IDs, and required medical consent forms into the EHR.
Administrative Operations:
- Route high-volume phone lines, coordinating seamlessly with the back-office clinical team regarding room availability and patient status.
- Maintain a pristine, organized, and compliant front office environment.
Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of dedicated medical front office, patient registration, or medical billing experience (Urgent Care or Emergency Department background is highly preferred).

Insurance Competency: Strong working knowledge of health insurance terminology, copay structures, and real-time eligibility checks.
