The role at a glance
- Schedule: Saturday 8 AM–8 PM and/or Sunday 8 AM–5 PM. Open to one day a week or both. Flexible.
- Pay: $50–65/hour, depending on experience
- Setting: AFC Urgent Care Brockton, 500 Westgate Drive — modern walk-in urgent care, opened 2025
- Volume: ~25–40 patient visits per shift, typically 8–15 imaging studies (mostly chest, extremity, and abdomen)
- Equipment: Digital DR system
What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic x-rays as ordered, using ALARA principles
- Position patients, explain procedures, process images, and prep for physician overread
- Maintain equipment between patients; log routine QC
- Keep imaging records compliant with HIPAA and OSHA
What we need
- ARRT (R) certified — required
- Massachusetts radiologic technologist license — required
- Comfortable with digital X-ray
- Reliable weekend availability
