Are you a skilled Manual Machinist looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at American Extrusion Int. as a Manual Machinist.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Mills, Lathes, Surface Grinders and Drill Press to produce high quality parts according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations.
- Select and install tooling, fixtures and machine accessories as required.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhee to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience
- Proficiency in programming, setting up, operations and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of machining techniques, tools and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
