Electrical Drafter
American Extrusion International is a global company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, installation and service of Grain Extrusion Equipment and other up/downstream accessories for the Food Industry.
Job Duties
The successful candidate will create and modify electrical drawings as well as update bill of materials to allow manufacturing to effectively build new equipment.
Responsibilities
- Create electrical drawings as instructed.
- Update archived prints when necessary.
- Update bill of materials for new jobs.
- Organize bill of materials to streamline process.
- Communicate effectively with Shop Supervisor and Controls Engineer regarding jobs.
- Produce quality work.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers when necessary.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must:
- Demonstrate ability to use AutoCAD Electrical to generate electrical prints.
- Have experience drawing and dimensioning electrical prints.
- Show attention to detail.
- Demonstrate basic math skills.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Have an Associate's Degree or be in the last semester
- Be organized and take pride on the work
- Be able to work unsupervised following guidelines set by superior.
Reports to Controls Engineer.
Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt Salary Range: $45,000 to $65,000 based on experience ($21.63-$31.25/hr)
