Membership Portfolio Services, within our US Consumer Services Business, plays a critical role in developing and scaling high-growth businesses that deepen card member and merchant engagement. A key part of this portfolio is Amex Offers and Digital Media – a digital advertising and marketing platform connecting merchants and advertisers with millions of high-spending American Express cardmembers.
The Amex Offers & Digital Media (AODM) Analytics team enhances this ecosystem with strategic, data-driven insights to drive engagement, inform product roadmap, optimize product strategy, and enhance customer experiences through data science and analytics.
About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join the AODM Strategic Analytics team, supporting cardmember, digital product, and advertising analytics within the Amex Offers and Digital Ads ecosystem. This individual will bring analytical expertise to uncover cardmember behaviors and engagement patterns. They will also help optimize platform performance and shape the future of our marketing and personalization capabilities.
This is a unique opportunity to apply data science across diverse business domains - ranging from consumer behavioral segmentation to digital ad measurement while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales and Sourcing, Strategy, Product, and Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analyses of cardmember and digital interaction data to generate actionable insights
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Go-to-Market (GTM), and Strategy teams to align business goals and analytical needs
- Translate complex business questions into clear analytical approaches (e.g., segmentation, cohort analysis, A/B testing, time series modeling)
- Contribute to strategic planning by defining test-and-learn methodologies, and supporting product development with data-driven insights
- Manage urgent and high-impact data requests for senior leadership
- Champion innovation by identifying and exploring untapped data and analytical opportunities
- Collaborate across regions (US, UK, India) to scale and adapt analytical solutions and best practices globally
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience managing and analyzing large, complex datasets
- 1 years of hands-on analytics or data science experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Operations Research)
- Strong quantitative and statistical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Familiarity with analytical and statistical methods (e.g. test design, supervised/unsupervised learning, forecasting, and optimization techniques)
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience with consumer behavior analytics, digital marketing or advertising platforms is a plus
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to deliver insights effectively to stakeholders
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
