Director of Wholesale Sales . This role will focus on growing and strengthening partnerships with key retail and image accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving the North American expansion of the Jonathan Adler brand in the premium national department store channel.

Jonathan Adler is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven leader to join our Sales and Business Development team as
Director of Wholesale Sales . This role will focus on growing and strengthening partnerships with key retail and image accounts, developing new business opportunities, and driving the North American expansion of the Jonathan Adler brand in the premium national department store channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage key strategic accounts including Saks, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Dillard’s, Macy’s, John Lewis, Selfridges, and Liberty of London.
- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives in partnership with the President and cross-functional teams.
- Oversee gross margin contribution of account base and meet or exceed company KPIs
- Drive new business development, identifying and cultivating relationships with potential retail and distribution partners globally.
- Partner closely with the internal sales and merchandising teams to align on account strategy, forecasting, and seasonal product opportunities.
- Lead presentations and negotiations with major retail and international partners to expand brand footprint.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations to ensure consistency and excellence in execution across all global channels.
- Manage and provide leadership to sales team members, with potential for expanded direct reports as the business grows.
- Attend Maison & Objet in Paris (1x per year) to oversee booth setup and engage with international partners.
- Travel to London to meet with existing and new UK accounts.
- Attend High Point Market (North Carolina) and other key U.S. trade shows to represent the brand and cultivate new business relationships as needed
- Travel with senior leadership and the consortium partners team as needed for strategic meetings and international expansion initiatives.
- Manage team of 1-2 direct reports
- 8 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the home décor, design, or luxury fashion industry.
- Proven track record managing high-volume retail accounts and expanding brand presence across global markets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking and ability to balance creative brand vision with commercial objectives.
- Highly collaborative with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to get hands on with logistics and fulfilment teams to ensure timely processing of orders.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
