Molding Operator – Demolder

Description

The Demolder is responsible for safely and efficiently removing foam products from molds following the curing process. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality and supporting smooth production flow in the molding department. **1 total opening**

Key Responsibilities

• Remove foam parts from molds carefully to prevent damage or deformation.
• Inspect molded products for quality defects such as tears, voids, or deformities and report any issues to the lead or supervisor.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production issues, delays, or material needs.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
• Stack or place finished parts in designated areas for further processing (e.g., trimming, packing).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with mold changeovers and setup as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing or foam fabrication environment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine functions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions, safety rules, and machine settings in English.
