Dozer operator safely operates machinery—to push, spread, compact, and cover solid waste with dirt. They perform daily safety checks, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment, while adhering to environmental regulations and monitoring for hazardous waste.
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, noise), perform physical labor (lifting, shoveling), and climb on/off equipment.
The job requires standing for long periods, bending, stooping, and manual dexterity to operate controls.
Previous experience (2 years required) operating heavy equipment, ideally in a landfill, construction, or earthmoving environment, but not required.
