WHAT YOU’LL DO
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in business discipline such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math etc. Other degrees will be considered based on experience.
Experience: one (1) year of energy experience in an analytical is a plus, but not required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex spreadsheet design); Effective problem-solving skills: ability to work from concept to analytics, identify alternatives and develop unique solutions; General intelligence with inquisitive and investigative attitude; Interest in energy industry, specifically deregulated electricity and natural gas; SQL and VBA skills a plus with an interest to further develop skills

Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform daily maintenance of risk positions and market deal valuations
- Research market changes and regulatory filings
- Perform ad hoc analysis to determine customer usage behavior and impacts to pricing and performance of booked business
- Coordinate with Pricing and Usage Data Management teams to implement and maintain usage profiles in the Risk database
- Recommend and test enhancements to Risk systems and processes
- Execute required SOX and business controls for volumetric tracking across Risk, Pricing, and Billing systems
- Audit contract data to ensure optimal data integrity and financial forecasting accuracy
- Devise and generate custom reports out of risk database
- Coordinate the filing of Renewable Portfolio Standard and Green-E requirements
- Ensure compliance with EIA and other governmental reporting requirements
