The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Job Description
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review state and local property tax returns, reports, estimates, work papers, and analyses.
- Develop property tax schedules for financial reports, forecasts, regulatory filings, and special studies.
- Manage property tax accounting activities, including related reconciliations
- Process property tax payments and negotiate property values with state and local tax jurisdictions.
- Leverage data analytics and AI to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of existing processes.
- Monitor property tax developments and assess their impact on the company.
- Conduct and supervise tax research, planning, and risk identification related to business activities.
- Advise business partners on property tax matters for new business ventures and evolving corporate structures.
- Participate in state and local tax audit processes, including responding to auditor questions.
- Experience with ERP systems, asset management systems, forecasting software, and data analytic tools (Power Query, Alteryx).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate Degree valued.
- Tax Analyst Senior: Minimum 3 years’ experience in business, finance, or accounting disciplines, with at least 2 years of indirect tax functions.
- Tax Analyst Principal: Minimum 5 years’ experience in business, finance, or accounting disciplines, with at least 3 years of indirect tax functions.
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, CIA) are valued but not required.
- Base salary range: $85,081 – $124,941 (depending on experience and skill set)
- Annual bonus (short-term incentive)

- Full-time, 40 hours per week
