- Deliver prompt and effective technical support to end-users across hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ensure email addresses and Company network is working properly and efficient.
- Manage and maintain computer systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals, with a focus on operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
- Troubleshoot software problems related to applications like Microsoft Office, help desk tools such as ServiceNow and Jira, and operating system issues on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Configure and support computer networking components including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, switches, and routers to ensure secure connectivity.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components to optimize performance and security.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to computer hardware failures or malfunctions while maintaining detailed records using BMC Remedy or similar ticketing systems.
- Support security protocols by managing firewall settings, VPN access, and other cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational data.
- Proven experience providing technical support in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of computer management including hardware troubleshooting, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications like Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network security best practices.
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or BMC Remedy is preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users with excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, switches, routers, and operating systems is highly desirable.
- Certifications related to IT support or networking (such as CompTIA A , Network , or Cisco certifications) are a plus but not mandatory.
