What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at AMERICAN EAGLE EQUITY ASSETS LLC?
Company Description
American Eagle Equity Assets LLC (AEEA) is a Central Texas–based advisory firm serving builders, owners, developers, lenders, sponsors, and project stakeholders across Texas in complex real estate and construction matters. The firm brings structure, velocity, and disciplined documentation to engagements that are time-sensitive, documentation-heavy, or already disputed — from pre-development feasibility and capital-stack alignment through underwriting readiness, project controls, payment-recovery documentation, closeout, and stabilization.
AEEA is engaged across the project lifecycle and at the points where the record will be examined: by counsel, carrier, lender, board, or opposing party. Representative matters include the preservation of a $551,000 specific-performance position in a Bell County, Texas land-for-services subdivision matter, and the recovery of $160,000 on a multi-party construction matter resolved without litigation. Initial position assessments are completed within 24–48 hours of intake. Engagement is selective and by referral or direct inquiry.
AEEA is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. The firm's work is practical business analysis, documentation discipline, and resolution-oriented support designed to preserve value, reduce friction, and position clients for efficient outcomes.
Role Description
AEEA is hiring a Marketing Intern to work directly with firm leadership on the brand, content, and outreach systems supporting a growing institutional advisory practice. This is not a generic intern role. The work will appear in client-facing materials, on the firm's public channels, and in the documentation that supports referral relationships with attorneys, lenders, CPAs, and project sponsors. The intern is expected to operate to the same standard the firm applies to its advisory work: clean, structured, and defensible.
This role can be performed remotely, but special opportunities exist for Austin and Temple (Bell County) area residents.
Core responsibilities:
— Researching and profiling target segments (referral attorneys, lender workout officers, CPAs handling distressed clients, syndication sponsors, builder and developer principals) and the channels they engage on.
— Drafting and laying out marketing artifacts: case summaries, capability one-pagers, brochure copy, web content, and email sequences — under direct review by firm leadership.
— Coordinating the firm's LinkedIn, email, and outbound content cadence, including post scheduling, performance tracking, and message-discipline review against the firm's brand voice.
— Maintaining a structured content and referral-pipeline tracker, including engagement metrics and follow-up status across professional referral relationships.
— Supporting event preparation and post-event follow-up for builder, CPA, attorney, and lender association engagements, including the Temple Area Builders Association and adjacent professional bodies.
— Capturing and organizing matter-level talking points (de-identified) for use in future case-study and credibility content.
The intern reports directly to the Managing Director and works in close coordination with the firm's external designers, developers, and content production resources. Schedule, compensation, and academic-credit arrangements are configurable for currently enrolled students and recent graduates; details on application.
QUALIFICATIONS
— Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Marketing, Business, Communications, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
— Comfort with structured work: the ability to follow a documented process, hit a deadline, and produce work that meets a specified standard the first time.
— Professional bearing in a client-adjacent setting. AEEA's clients and referral partners are attorneys, lenders, CPAs, and project principals; intern work product must be presentable to them without rework.
— Working proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and at least one email marketing or CRM platform. You will receive specific training in AEEA's proprietary platforms (FACTIVAULT and/or ORDINACT)
Strengths (preferred, not required)
— Coursework or independent interest in real estate, construction, finance, or commercial law.
— Familiarity with B2B and institutional marketing as distinct from consumer or D2C marketing.
— Prior experience producing content for professional services firms (advisory, legal, accounting, financial).
— Basic comfort with design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Express) or willingness to learn quickly.
— Existing portfolio of writing, marketing, or campaign work.
Salary : $160,000 - $551,000
