Duties
- Deliver drywall to job site, unload truck and place drywall in designated areas
- Work outdoors, handling the challenges of the elements
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials efficiently
- Assist in preparing will call orders , verifying inventory accuracy, and documenting transactions
- Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Support warehouse supervisors in inventory management tasks and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction supply environments
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and materials handling tools
- Forklift Certification (2 years experience required)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 pounds safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and strong customer service and communication skills
- Safety focused and reliable
