American Driver is hiring in Sanford, NC. Sanford sits in Lee County in the heart of North Carolina, well positioned between the Triangle and the I-95 corridor — solid access to Eastern OTR freight lanes running year-round.
This is a full-time W2 position with a fully paid training program for drivers who have completed their CDL school hours.

- 4–6 weeks fully paid with a dedicated mentor
- Real loads from day one — no classroom simulations
- Covers ELD operation, HOS compliance, inspections, and daily operations
- Weekly pay throughout
- Solo at $0.56 CPM after completion
- Dry van, no-touch freight
- 60% drop and hook
- 2,200–2,500 miles per week
- Eastern routes with consistent freight
- Day and night runs depending on dispatch
- $0.56–$0.65 CPM based on experience
- Weekly earnings typically $1,200–$1,500
- Stop, layover, and breakdown pay included
- Six-month pay increase
- $300 paid orientation
- Weekly direct deposit
- Home every two weeks on a set, planned schedule
- Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
- APUs on all assigned trucks
