What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL A Regional Driver -Recent CDL School Grads OK to apply position at American Driver?
Class A drivers (including recent graduates that need training) run regionally,
- Average weekly pay: $1300-$1500
- Average annual sallary : $65,000-$85,000 based on experience
- Drivers cover 2,200- 2,500 miles weekly
- Per mile pay based on experience and productivity.
- All freight is dry van and you will run the western US.
- All loads are round trip ,home every week
- Most of the freight being WY, MT, ID, CO, UT, NV, CA, OR and WA
- 100% no touch with 60% drop and hook
- Experienced drivers can have a rider and pet from day one
- Benefits start after 30 days including medical, dental, 401K and PTO
- Paid orientation & travel/hotel
Recent Graduates:
- Trainees must have VALID Class A CDL
- Minimum 120hr of driving in trucking school
- Trainees are paid $800/week
- Training in duration of 4-6 weeks
- Transition to $0.50 cpm after training
Requirements:
- 6 months of verifiable experience
- Must be 21 with Valid Class A CDL
- No DOT Preventable accidents
- No major accident
- ANY DOT preventable accident in the last 5 years is an auto
- No more than 2 preventable incidents
- Cannot have been terminated from last job due to safety concerns
- NO DUI in the last 5 years in commercial vehicle
- Never have failed a DOT or refused a drug alcohol
Salary: $65.000 - $85,000.00 per year
