What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A OTR Driver | Just Got Your CDL? | Paid Mentor Training position at American Driver?
Got your CDL, but every company wants experience first? This one hires new grads and pays you while you learn.
Here is exactly what happens after you apply, so there are no surprises.
Step 1: A recruiter calls you. Same business day. They check your license, your record and your school hours. 120 hours from CDL school is enough.
Step 2: You train with a mentor, paid. One-on-one, in the truck, with an experienced driver. You earn from the start instead of paying to learn.
Step 3: You go solo. When you finish, you get your own assigned truck, an automatic or 10-speed about 1.5 years old, and full solo mileage pay.
What Solo Pays
OTR lanes in the eastern states. Some loads are drop-and-hook, some are live. You're out about two weeks, then home. Loads are planned for you, and dispatch answers day and night.
Benefits After 30 Days
Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants are considered regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
