Friday 12 pm-10:30 pm
Saturday 8 am - 6:30 pm
Sunday 8 am - 6:30 pm
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC lathe machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to job specifications
- Load raw materials and monitor machining processes
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintain production records and quality documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
- 2 years of experience operating CNC lathes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge of G-code and machine programming
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- CNC certification from a technical or vocational school
- Experience with multi-axis CNC lathes
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Experience working in ISO-certified manufacturing environments
