Role Description The Manager, Risk Management is a full-time, on-site role based at American Dream in East Rutherford, NJ. This role is responsible for overseeing the enterprise risk management program, identifying and assessing operational, financial, and strategic risks across entertainment, retail, and dining operations. The Manager will design and implement risk mitigation strategies, monitor key risk indicators, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance, internal controls, and business continuity planning. Daily responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, reviewing insurance and loss data, coordinating audits and investigations, preparing reports and presentations for leadership, and maintaining documentation and policies. The individual will also partner closely with finance, legal, operations, and security teams to foster a proactive risk-aware culture and support ongoing improvements in safety and resilience.

Qualifications
- Strong Enterprise Risk Management skills, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Solid Finance and Accounting knowledge to understand financial impacts of risk and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with Auditing, including internal controls review, testing, and documentation of findings.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, risk management, business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRM, FRM, CPA) are a plus.
- Experience in risk management within retail, hospitality, real estate, or large mixed-use environments preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality and sound judgment.
