Summary
A Receiver at American Dining Creations will be responsible for accurate and timely receiving of inventory. This crucial back-of-house support position will ensure all products meet quality standards and are stored accurately and efficiently upon arriving at the account.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive inventory from vendors in a timely manner, organizing all food storage areas, keeping storage areas clean.
- Inspect all incoming orders to ensure correct weight, quality and quantity.
- Check all products and rotate stock as received (FIFO).
- Responsible for all assigned unloading and maintaining a clean storage area.
- Assist with deliveries of caterings and utility duties as needed.
- May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Relevant experience in a similar position preferred.
- Time management skills and task focused in a fast- paced environment.
- Ability to understand written and verbal communication effectively.
- Ability to understand and meet set standards for health and safety by remaining alert and focuses.
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable and thorough.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., push and pull heavy carts, bend, climb stairs, stand and walk for entire scheduled shift.
