Summary

A Cashier with American Dining Creations will provide outstanding customer service while completing orders and processing payments. Organized, detail oriented, and experienced in properly processing cash, debit, credit, and other point-of-sale system transactions. Responsibilities include processing and packaging mobile food orders. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS to ring up orders quickly and accurately.
• Receive payments including cash, debit, credit, mobile and other payments where applicable.
• Balance POS system at beginning and end of each shift.
• Menu knowledge, ability to provide recommendations and up sell when able.
• Greet, assist, and provide friendly customer service to all guests.
• During peak business times step in to support your team with preparation, catering and delivery as needed.
• Tasks may include clearing trash, restock product, clean, and maintain workstation and general area neatness.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cashier and POS experience in retail or food service environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• This position requires lifting 50lbs, bending, walking, climb stairs, and standing for scheduled shift.
