What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire and Security Alarm Installation Technician position at American Detection Systems?
American Detection Systems Inc. has been established in Wilmington for 24 years. We are looking for Installation Technicians to perform installation, service and inspections of commercial/residential fire and burglar alarms. Knowledge of CCTV and Access Controls is a plus, but will train. A minimum of 3 years’ experience with fire alarms, security alarms, CCTV or access control, strong technical aptitude, self-motivated, flexible, dependable, good communication skills, teamwork and analytical problem solving skills are essential. Must be able to pass a federal background check and drug test. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Individual must be motivated and work well with others. NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems a PLUS, but not necessary. Salary is commensurate with experience.
