Position Summary
As our Dental Receptionist & Insurance Coordinator, you are the front-line ambassador for our practice and the backbone of our insurance operations. You will warmly greet patients, keep our active multi-line phones running smoothly, and manage critical insurance verification and claim workflows. This role is ideal for an experienced dental professional who enjoys staying busy, multitasking, and making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities

Patient Check-In & Check-Out: Warmly welcome patients, manage smooth check-in/check-out procedures, and maintain an organized, upbeat front desk environment.

Call Management: Confidently handle high-volume phone lines with outstanding customer service, warmth, and efficiency.

Insurance Verification & Setup: Thoroughly verify patient insurance plans, break down benefits, and accurately attach insurance details into practice management software before appointments.

Claims Processing & Management: Prepare, submit, and track dental insurance claims, resolve claim denials, and ensure timely reimbursement.

Financial Transparency: Educate patients on their coverage, co-pays, and estimated out-of-pocket costs to uphold our commitment to transparent pricing.
Qualifications & Skills

Dental Office Experience (Required): Minimum 1 years of hands-on dental front office experience.

Insurance Expertise (Required): Proven, in-depth knowledge of dental insurance verification, breakdown of benefits, and claim submission processes.

Thrives in High Volume: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm and composed in a fast-paced setting with multiple ringing phone lines.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft).
