Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Project Manager / Product Owner on a part-time basis starting January 2026 to guide ADGA’s software development efforts, ensuring projects meet organizational needs and provide long-term value for members and staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Define and communicate the vision and priorities for ADGA’s technology products.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap and annual priorities.
- Serve as the primary entry point for work to the development team.
- Gather requirements and create user stories in collaboration with staff and subject matter experts that are actionable by the development team
- Manage the development backlog, including feature requests and bug tracking in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Prioritize development teamwork following the guidance of overall EC Priorities and business needs determine contents of software releases.
- Determine content of individual software releases
- Oversee functional acceptance testing for all releases and determine go/ no-go decisions on releases with concurrence of the Association Manager.
- Maintain process workflow diagrams and product documentation.
- Coordinate regularly with the Association Manager, EC, IM Committee, and Communications Specialist on project updates, release communications, and organizational alignment.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and staff, including an annual presentation on the state of NG and the roadmap.
- Act as a resource to staff for Agile development knowledge and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field.
- 5 years of product management/ownership experience, ideally with software development teams.
- Strong skills in backlog management and stakeholder communication.
- Proven ability to balance short-term needs with long-term strategic vision.
- Experience working in an agile development environment preferred.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
