We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Exterior Installer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Install exterior building elements such as siding, decks, windows, doors, gutters, and trim carpentry with precision and efficiency
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening materials including vinyl siding, hardie siding, decking, windows, doors, and framing components
- Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials
- Perform construction site inspections to verify quality standards and safety compliance throughout each project phase
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for material handling or site preparation tasks
- Assist in fabrication and customization of building materials as required for specific projects or design specifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in exterior construction installation including siding, roofing, decking, windows, doors, or related fields
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of building materials such as sidings, roofings, windows, fixtures, glass installation techniques, and caulking methods
- Skilled in dimensional measurements and precise installation using tape measures and other measurement tools
- Experience with construction inspection procedures to ensure quality control during all phases of work
- Additional skills such as plumbing, electrical work experience or carpentry (including trim carpentry), welding or restoration work are highly desirable
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards on construction sites
