Santa Clarita restoration company seeking a Collections Specialist to manage client accounts, collect payments, and ensure timely resolution of billing issues. We are a home restoration company that specializes in repairs caused by water damage, fire, and mold. We are looking for an in-office employee to assist our company in collections . We are looking for a very self-motivated individual who can be productive and efficient without constant supervision and who takes pride in their work.
Home Restoration Coordinator/Assistant
- Hours: Full time
- Compensation: 22$-26$ DOE
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect payments for past due and assist customer with billing issues or problems preventing payment.
- meet with project managers weekly for collection meetings
- send out weekly invoices, payment reminders, etc
- Maintain the relationship between us and the customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
- Able to write clearly and professionally
- Comfortable with communicating over both email and phone
- Organized and proficient in keeping a detailed calendar
- comfortable in Microsoft excel and word
- Basic accounting skills
- Versatility (able to work in changing environments)
- must be able to pass a background check
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work alone and within a team dynamic
- Reliable transportation to work
- collection experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Lien Laws is a plus
