Pay Package:
Taxable: $33/hr
Stipend: $1,246/week
Total Gross: $2,434/week
Position Overview:
American Consultants is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night‑shift travel assignment in Shelton, WA. The RN will provide high‑acuity emergency care in a fast‑paced ED, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on severity of condition
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
- Assist with emergency procedures such as trauma care, resuscitation, and stabilization
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license preferred)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred or required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments
