POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Partnership and Proposal Creative is a key member of the conference’s RISE
Ventures team. American RISE (Revenue, Innovation, Sports, Entertainment) Ventures officially launched May 22, 2025, as the conference’s first internal commercial business division. It is responsible for all aspects of revenue generation, sponsorship strategy, brand partnerships, and emerging business projects. The Assistant Director serves as the team’s creative storyteller, expertly designing proposals, “bringing them to life” for all commercial initiatives.
POSITION DETAILS
• Department: RISE Ventures | Commercial and Business Division
• Location: Position is remote
• Travel: Regular travel required, including nights and weekends during times of conference events
• Supervisory scope: Individual contributor role; may supervise interns or temporary staff as assigned

• Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
• Key partners: Conference staff; business and sponsorship partners
THE ROLE AND CANDIDATE PROFILE
The conference seeks a graphic design, sponsorship marketing professional with strong writing and
verbal communication skills, organizational discipline, and a service mindset. The ideal candidate brings one to three years of practical experience in sports partnerships, sponsorship marketing, or creative strategy. The role is the “engine” behind the proposal and negotiation processes driving sales and business success and influencing how brands engage with all American constituencies. The assistant director should have proven abilities of building pitch deck presentations that produce results. Experience working with Photoshop, InDesign, Digideck, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides. Understanding the sports sponsorship landscape is a plus. The role requires some night and weekend work.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in art, graphic design, marketing, or a related field required.
• One to three years of experience in sports partnerships, sponsorship marketing, creative strategy, or
a related field required.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to manage
competing deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with strong journalistic writing and editing
ability.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Digideck, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant communications-related software.
• Ability to maintain punctual attendance and timely correspondence.
