Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team on various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete forming, installation, and finishing techniques. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and set up forms for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and equipment.
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete to specified textures using hand tools such as trowels and floats.
- Restore and repair existing concrete surfaces as required, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary to move materials and equipment on the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and installation processes.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools related to concrete finishing and tile laying.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
- Knowledge of plastering techniques is a plus but not required.
